Sen. Scott Brown’s famous pickup truck might have helped win him a Senate seat, but on Thursday night, it couldn’t even get him home.

[IMGCAP(1)]The Massachusetts Republican was spotted leaving his “welcome to the Senate” reception at Union Pub in his dark-green GMC — but the truck got stuck on Massachusetts Avenue, leaving the Senator spinning the wheels and rocking back and forth in an effort to get it moving. A passerby who witnessed the stymied Senator says Brown’s wife and daughter, Arianna, were watching, clearly amused, from the sidewalk. Brown rolled down the window and was laughing, too, our tipster says.

And we thought those Yankees from cold-weather states could handle a little slush on the road.
