HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Pretend Presidential Reunion

What does it take to bring together every (fake) president since Gerald Ford at the White House? Simple: Advocate for financial reform.

[IMGCAP(1)]Comedy Web site Funny or Die is helping spread the message of the coalition group Americans for Financial Reform by releasing a new online video featuring the actors who played presidents on “Saturday Night Live,” including Chevy Chase as Ford (yes, we know, Ford’s dead), Dan Aykroyd as Jimmy Carter, Dana Carvey as George H.W. Bush, Darrell Hammond as Bill Clinton, Will Ferrell as George W. Bush and Fred Armisen as current Prez Barack Obama. “SNL” alum Maya Rudolph also stars as first lady Michelle Obama.

In the video, the former presidents come back to push Obama to act on financial reform. There’s even an appearance by the late President Ronald Reagan (played by Jim Carrey), who tells his fellow presidents: “I am dead, but I’ve come back as a spirit to help Mr. Reach Across the Aisle here grow a pair.”
