HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Guess Who’s Back!

Just days after creating a zoo by testifying on Capitol Hill, comedian Stephen Colbert is returning to lobbying, this time taking part in a campaign to help America’s outdoor spaces.

The “Colbert Report” host appears on an
e-card for the America’s Great Outdoors campaign, a community-based group working to help the Obama administration develop initiatives that will protect land, water and wildlife. Much like his testimony Friday, Colbert’s e-card features a quote from the talk-show host, in full character, urging others to take part in the effort.

“I am something of an outdoorsman in that I occasionally go out of doors — to hail a cab, let’s say,” Colbert’s e-card reads. “But there are parts of this nation that don’t have asphalt. I encourage you to go explore and support them. [But watch out for bears].”

No word on whether Colbert will return to Capitol Hill for this effort.
