HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Cartoon Presidents
Two of America’s nerdiest pastimes — politics and comic books — are coming together this week in the form of a new graphic novel. “Political Power” is a 96-page book that tells the stories of Presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama through drawings and dialogue bubbles.
The book is being released by Bluewater Productions as a part of its comic biography series. The series is a spin-off of the company’s “Female Force” line of comics, which recently published a novel on women in the media featuring animated versions of Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters and Meredith Vieira.
In the past, the “Political Power” series has featured novels on such political heavy hitters as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
