There’s the House of Gucci and the House of Armani, and now apparently the House of Science and Technology — at least according to Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson.

The Texas Democrat sent out a press release earlier this week announcing her bid to be ranking member on the “House of Science and Technology Committee.” One major problem: No such committee exists.

There is, however, the House Science and Technology Committee. Quite the typo from a woman who is hoping to help lead the committee.

The release, which hit inboxes Monday, refers to the fictitious committee three separate times, including in the headline. Johnson’s office did not immediately return request for comment.
