Heard on the Hill: Tale of Two Cities

The Democratic National Committee announced Tuesday that it had selected Charlotte, N.C., as the site of its 2012 convention, to be held the week of Sept. 3. Republican National Committee officials announced last year that they had picked Tampa, Fla., for their big event, set for August.
