HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Out and About

Members and political types have been spotted all over town in the past few days.

Rumored presidential candidate and former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) was spotted on the National Mall on Tuesday. Gingrich was mugging for the camera with his wife, Callista. We hear the pair was posing with the Capitol Dome in the background.

Meanwhile, a spy saw Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) and his wife, Elizabeth Harper Kucinich, leaving vegan eatery Café Green on Sunday afternoon. We hear they walked down 17th Street Northwest holding hands.

“The much-taller Harper reached down for a hug,” our tipster says. “It was too cute for words, or for one’s appetite.”
