I took the photograph in the evening. I was waiting for the light to get nice at the Pentagon Memorial and there weren’t that many people around. I saw this Polish family walking and asked if I could take a photograph of their little boy, Oskar Poltrorak, while he played. It was kind of interesting because the bench where he played is dedicated to a child (8-year-old Zoe Falkenberg) who died on Flight 77.
