Ron Faibish has been hired as a nuclear fellow for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. He was the program manager for the nuclear engineering division at the Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago. Faibish also has worked as a part-time instructor at the Illinois Institute of Technology. He was director of the Water Institute at Purdue University Calumet and Argonne National Laboratory. He served as international research project science expert and manager at the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Lucy Murfitt has been hired as a staff member for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Murfitt is currently legislative counsel to Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz. She also has worked as director of policy and partnerships for the Ecological Restoration Institute at Northern Arizona University. She served as a trial attorney for the environmental law litigation branch and as environmental counsel for the resource sustainment and restoration branch, both in the environmental law division of the Army Legal Services Agency. She also was environmental counsel for the Army Judge Advocate Office at Fort Bragg.
Jodi Seth has been hired as manager of policy and D.C. communications at Facebook. Seth was communications director for Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass. She also has served as communications director for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Mark Chadason has been hired as senior vice president and general manager at MacAulay-Brown Inc. He was senior vice president for enterprise risk management and special programs at ManTech International as well as senior vice president and general manager of space, security, cyber and intelligence. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of national security programs at ManTech.
Steven Smith has been promoted to account executive at MediaForce PR. He was senior client services representative. Smith has worked as a sales consultant at NorthStar Express Freight Inc. He also served as a program assistant and public relations liaison at the Entertainment Industries Council Inc.
Pearl Mihara has been hired as vice president of human resources at research organization CNA. Mihara was vice president of human resources at Engility, a government services company. She has worked as vice president of human resources at ATK, a defense technology company. She also has worked as director of human resources at defense technology company General Dynamics AIS.
Edward E. Hunter, a retired Navy rear admiral, has been hired as a member of The SPECTRUM Group, a government business consulting firm. Hunter was the account executive for the foreign affairs information technology outsourcing portfolio at information technology company Electronic Data Systems. He has worked as a senior program manager for Symmetron. In the Navy he commanded the Naval Training Center Great Lakes and Navy Region Midwest, and was deputy commander for U.S. Forces Southern Command.
