Alex Herrgott has been hired as legislative director for Sen. James M. Inhofe, R-Okla. Herrgott was a senior professional staff member for the Republican staff on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

Murphie Barrett has been hired as a professional staff member on the House Transportation and Infrastructure’s Subcommittee on Highways and Transit. She was an adviser to Sen. Inhofe. Barrett also has worked as a senior manager in the congressional and public affairs division at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Clare Doherty has been hired as director of budget and program analysis for the House Transportation and Infratructure Committee. She was a senior adviser to the chief financial officer at the Transportation Department. She also has served as deputy director of the Office of Budget at the Interior Department. She worked as a program examiner in the Office of Management and Budget. She was a budget analyst at the Congressional Budget Office.

Lynn Deavers has been appointed the metropolitan Washington airports authority accountability officer. Deavers is a career attorney in the office of general counsel at the Transportation Department. She is a former litigator.

Kim Peretti has been hired as a partner in the privacy and data security practice, and as co-chairwoman of the government investigations team at Alston & Bird. She was the director of cyber forensics for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She also has worked as a senior cybercrime prosecutor at the Justice Department under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

R. Paul Noland has been named president of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Noland was principal of consulting firm RPN Associates. He also has served as senior vice president of global business development at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He was also senior vice president of finance, planning and business development and as vice president of revenue management and business development on Disney’s financial team. He worked as senior director of lodging revenue management and director of sales and catering systems at Marriott International.

Mike Prucker has been hired as chief operations officer at the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. Prucker was a lobbyist at the Palmetto Group. Prucker has worked as legislative director to Rep. Richard E. Neal, D-Mass. He has also worked as executive assistant to the vice chair of the Democratic caucus.

The following people have been hired at trade group the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America):

Paul Feenstra has been hired as senior vice president for government and external affairs. Feenstra was a media consultant at lobbying firm Keystone Public Affairs. He has worked at the Transportation Department as a policy advisor and as director of governmental, international and public affairs at the department’s research and innovative technology administration. He has also worked as a government and public affairs manager at ITS America.

Ashley Simmons has been hired as communications director. Simmons was communications director of the Information Technology Industry Council, a trade group. She has worked as an account director with the David All Group. She also has worked as a press liaison for the Motion Picture Association of America.

Eliana Velez has been hired as communications specialist. Velez was a communications manager at the National Hispana Leadership Institute. She has worked as a communications consultant with humanitarian group Swedepeace. She also has worked as a media accreditation liaison for the United Nations.

Lewis Rose has been promoted to managing partner of law and lobbying firm Kelley, Drye & Warren’s Washington office. Rose was a partner and chair of the advertising and marketing practice. He has worked at the Federal Trade Commission as an attorney and as assistant to the director of the commission’s bureau of consumer protection.
