People on the Move

The following people have been promoted on the Republican staff of the Senate Finance Committee:

• Kim Brandt has been named chief oversight counsel. Brandt was chief healthcare investigative counsel. She also has worked as counsel in the health care group at Alston & Bird. She also has served as director of the Medicare Program Integrity Group at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. She was director of external affairs and senior counsel in the civil remedies branch in the Health and Human Services Department’s office of inspector general.

• Bryan Hickman has been named senior counsel. He was special counsel. He also has worked as counsel for the Republican staff of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He was a legislative aide to Sen. Orrin G. Hatch, R-Utah.

• Jay Khosla has been named policy director. Khosla was chief health counsel and legislative director to Sen. Hatch. He also has worked as senior health policy adviser to Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. He also was health counsel for the Senate Budget Committee. He was health counsel to former Senate Majority Leader William Frist, R-Tenn.

Jeff Rosen has been appointed chairman of the National Council on Disability. Rosen is the general counsel to video interpreting company ZVRS. He has served as general counsel and director of policy for the National Council on Disability. He also has worked as an attorney at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Lynnae M. Ruttledge has been appointed a member of the National Council on Disability. Ruttledge is a disability policy adviser to DOCTRID, a disability research organization. She has served as commissioner of the Rehabilitation Services Administration at the Education Department under President Barack Obama. She also has served as director of the Washington division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

Kathy Calvin has been named president and CEO of the UN Foundation. Calvin is the CEO of the UN Foundation. She also has worked as president of the AOL Time Warner Foundation. She worked as senior vice president and chief communications officer at AOL. She was a senior managing director at Hill and Knowlton, a global PR firm. She was press secretary to former Sen. Gary Hart, D-Colo.

Louis M. Addeo has been promoted to Executive Vice President for Corporate Development and Strategic Acquisitions at defense technology company ManTech International Corp. Addeo was president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Technical Services Group. He has worked as chief operating officer of Serco Inc. He also has worked as president of AT&T Government Solutions Inc.

Daniel J. Keefe has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Technical Services Group. Keefe was the executive vice president and general manager of the group. He has worked as senior vice president and general manager in the MPRI division at defense technology company L-3 Communications. Keefe retired from the Army with the rank of brigadier general.

Gary G. Grindler has joined the special matters and government investigations practice at law and lobbying firm King & Spaulding as a partner. Grindler was chief of staff to Attorney General Eric J. Holder Jr. at the Justice Department. He has served at the department as acting deputy attorney general and deputy assistant attorney general in the criminal division. He has also worked as a partner at King & Spaulding.
