Ryan Hart has been hired as a legislative assistant for Sen. Richard M. Burr, R-N.C. He was a legislative assistant to Rep. George Holding, R-N.C. He also has worked as a legislative assistant to former Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C. He was a legislative aide for the Republican staff on the Senate Finance Committee. He also served as a legislative correspondent to Burr.

Larry Farnsworth has been hired as communications director to Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb. Farnsworth was the president of Gavel Public Affairs. He also has worked as vice president of Crosby-Volmer International Communications. He also has served as deputy press secretary and speechwriter to former House speaker J. Dennis Hastert, R-Ill.

Derek Gianino has been hired as national outreach director at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition. He was deputy national coalitions director for Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. He also served as an account executive at Howard Consulting Group. He was a deputy field manager at DDC Advocacy. He worked as a research associate at the Leadership Project for America.

Barry Jackson has been hired as a strategic adviser at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. He serves as a trustee of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a director of the National Endowment for Democracy and a director of the Consortium of Catholic Academies. Jackson was chief of staff to House Speaker John A. Boehner, R-Ohio. He also has served as executive director of the House Republican Conference. He worked as director of the White House’s office of strategic initiatives under President George W. Bush.

Elizabeth A. Maier has been hired as a policy director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. She was legislative director to former Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz. She also has served as his senior political adviser and legislative assistant. She also was legislative assistant to Rep. Frank R. Wolf, R-Va.

Michael K. Frisby has been named president of Regan Communications Group in Washington. He was president of his own firm, Frisby & Associates. He worked as a senior vice president at Porter Novelli. He also was White House correspondent for the Wall Street Journal. He also worked as a political reporter for the Boston Globe and a reporter for The Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Dayton Daily News.

Rick Devereaux has been hired as a member of The SPECTRUM Group. He was president of his own firm, Devereaux Consulting. He also served as director of operational planning, policy and strategy for the Air Force. He has worked as an independent consultant. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of major general.

James C. Sutton has been hired as a member at The SPECTRUM Group. He was deputy assistant secretary of the Army for services. He also has served as program executive officer of ammunition, and as deputy program executive officer before that. He was a civilian project manager for Close Combat Ammunition Systems and for Heavy Tactical Vehicles.

Wendy Krasner has been appointed vice president of regulatory affairs at the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association. She was a partner in the health care practice at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. She also has served as deputy vice president for policy at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. She was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery.

Craig Nixon has been hired as CEO at ACADEMI. He was a partner at the McChrystal Group. He also has worked as deputy director of operations in U.S. Central Command. He served as director of operations for U.S. Special Operations Command. He was the commander of the 75th ranger regiment for combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
