Gregg Nunziata has been hired as general counsel for Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. Nunziata was a senior director at the Advisory Board Company, a health care consulting firm. He has served as a judiciary and homeland security policy counsel for the Senate Republican Policy Committee and as chief Republican nominations counsel for the Senate Judiciary Committee. He also has worked as a special assistant for the Justice Department under President George W. Bush.
Howard Berman has joined law and lobbying firm Covington & Burling’s global public policy and government affairs practice. He was a Democratic member of the House representing California. He also has served as an assemblyman in the California legislature, and eventually became Assembly majority leader.
John P. Grant has been hired as a senior adviser of governmental affairs at law and lobbying firm Husch Blackwell. Grant was president of his own firm, J.P. Grant. He also has previously worked as a lobbyist at Husch Blackwell, which was Blackwell Sanders at the time.
Lynn Wasylina has been hired as chief financial officer at MicroTech. She was corporate controller for PAE, a government contractor. She also was director of finance, accounting, policy and governance at defense technology company BAE Systems. She also served as BAE’s controller. She was director of international external affairs at the Atlantic Richfield Company. She was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Bill Collins has been hired as a senior vice president of product solutions at MicroTech. He was vice president of sales at GTSI, a government technology company.
Frank J. Schweitzer has been hired as a partner in the international arbitration and international trade practices at K&L Gates, a law and lobbying firm. Schweitzer was associate general counsel in the Office of the United States Trade Representative’s executive office of the president.
Megan Delany has joined the telecommunications and technology policy practice in the Washington office at law and lobbying firm SNR Denton as a principal. Delany was vice president of governmental affairs and counsel at General Communication Inc., a telecommunications company. She has worked as a lobbyist for telecommunications lobbying firm the Joseph Group and as vice president of government affairs at Allegiance Telecom. She also has worked as a staffer for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
Mark Lunn has joined the international trade practice at SNR Denton as a partner. Lunn was a partner at Arent Fox, a law and lobbying firm. He has worked as an attorney at Coudert Brothers. He also has worked in the Office of Policy and Strategic Planning at the Commerce Department.
Brian Kaminski has been promoted to partner at Rational 360, a communications firm. Kaminski is a communications and public affairs strategist. He has worked as a staffer for Sen. Barbara A Mikulski, D-Md. He has also worked as an intern in the White House’s Office of the First Lady and at the Democratic National Committee.
