Rocket PAC Blasts Off

A congressman who IS a rocket scientist has just started a new federal PAC, “Rocket PAC.”

Rep. Rush D. Holt,

D-N.J., has registered Rocket PAC as a new leadership PAC with the Federal Election Commission. Before being elected to Congress, Holt was an astrophysicist and assistant director of the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. Alan Hershey is the treasurer in Pennington, N.J.

His PAC should do well collecting from political action committees and individuals. His House campaign committee raised $621,640 from PACs and other committees in 2011-2012. View his 2011-2012 financial profile. Since 1995, Holt’s campaign have raised $14.8 million, including $3.8 million from PACs and other committees.

Holt also launched his website today for his Senate campaign.
