PACS Reporting Activity for May

PACs who file monthly are filing disclosure reports today for their financial activity during May.

PACs reporting large activity include: the National Association of Realtors PAC giving out $262,110 to federal candidates and committees; the National Beer Wholesalers Association PAC giving $207,500; the Associated Builders and Contractors PAC giving $204,500; Raytheon Company PAC giving $190,000; and the National Restaurant Association PAC giving $169,500.

Also CULAC the PAC of Credit Union National Association giving $144,000; the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers PAC giving $138,925; the American Association for Justice PAC giving $127,000; BNSF Railway Company RailPAC giving $123,000; Comcast Corporation & NBCUniversal PAC-Federal giving $135,500; and Union Pacific Corp. Fund for Effective Government giving $111,500.

Rep. Paul Ryan’s PAC, Prosperity Action Inc., reported raising $96,577 in May, including itemized contributors from 27 states. The PAC gave out $75,000 to federal candidates and committees. The PAC gave 12 candidates $5,000 each, including two members on his Budget Committee, Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.) and Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.). Other freshmen receiving checks included Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Ohio), Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Ill.), and Rep. David Valadao (R-Calif.). The PAC also gave $15,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
