Two New FEC Commissioners Confirmed by Senate

The U.S. Senate today confirmed two nominees of President Barack Obama to the Federal Election Commission.

Republican 
Lee Goodman
 and Democrat 
Ann Ravel
 were confirmed by unanimous consent this afternoon. This brings the commission to its full six-person strength, although the four other commissioners are serving after their terms expired.
