Chamber of Commerce Spends $5.2 Million on Ads

The Chamber of Commerce of the U.S . reported it spent $5.2 million last week on political advertisements for the 2014 elections. The Chamber identified how they sent the funds but did not report which corporations or donors provided the funds.  

The Chamber reported it paid $1,100,000 to Something Else Strategies as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-31, supporting Senate candidate Rep. Cory Gardner , R-Colo.  

The Chamber paid $500,000 to R Street Films as independent expenditures for TV and digital ad to run from May 7-17, supporting House candidate Stewart Mills , R-Minn., 8th District.  

The Chamber paid $500,000 to Craft Media as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-28, supporting Robert Dold , R-Illinois, 10th District.  

The Chamber paid $500,000 to Something Else Strategies as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-20, supporting Sen. Mitch McConnell , R-Ky.  

The Chamber paid $450,000 to Something Else Strategies as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-27, supporting Rep. Mike Coffman , R-Colo, 6th District.  

The Chamber paid $350,000 to R Street Films as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-17, supporting House candidate Richard Tisei , R-Mass., 6th District.

The Chamber paid $350,000 to Revolution Agency as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-20, supporting Rep. Joe Heck , R-Nev., 3rd District.

The Chamber paid $300,000 to R Street Films as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-17, supporting Rep. David Valadao, R-Calif., 21st District.

The Chamber paid $300,000 to Craft Media as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-27, supporting Rep. Douglas Ose, R-Calif, 7th District.

The Chamber paid $200,000 to Craft Media as independent expenditures for TV and media ads to run from May 7-20, supporting Rep. Daniel Benishek, R-Mich., 1st District.

The Chamber paid $175,000 to R Street Films as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads ti run from May 7-17, in support of Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky., 6th District.

The Chamber paid $125,000 to Revolution Agency as independent expenditures for TV and digital ads to run from May 7-20, supporting Rep.Michael Simpson, R-Idaho, 2nd District.
