A Republican-oriented Super PAC has reported spending more than $1 million against Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga., in his July 22nd Republican Party Senate primary run-off election.  

CWA PAC, formerly known as Citizens for a Working America PAC and based in Beaufort, South Carolina,  reported  it spent $1,031,400 from May 1 through July 2nd, on independent expenditures opposing Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga.  

CWA PAC reported it paid $1,018,900 to Access Media Services Inc. (CA) between 6/23 and 6/27 for television advertising opposing Jack Kingston. They also paid Chatham Light Media LLC (VT) $15,250 for production costs. The PAC also paid Jobs and Progress Fund Inc. (OH) $10,000 for research.  

During this same reporting period, but before the primary, CWA PAC paid Access Media Services Inc. (CA) $500,000 on 5/2 for television advertising supporting Kingston’s run-off opponent, David Perdue, R-Ga., and $15,500 for production costs.  

In an earlier reporting period, CWA PAC previously reported spending $500,000 on April 18th for television advertising as independent expenditures opposing Kingston, and $15,500 for production costs.  

The major donors to the PAC this year were: Jobs and Progress Fund Inc. (West Chester, Ohio) $1,685,000; Government Integrity Fund (Grove City, Ohio) $410,000; and Paladin Holdings LLC (New City, N.Y.) $5,000.
