Jake Tapper Draws Cartoon for the Roll Call 60th Anniversary
You’re surely familiar with CNN’s Jake Tapper, host of the “The Lead” on weekdays and the Sunday show “State of the Union,” but did you remember that he’s also a talented cartoonist who once worked for Roll Call ?
Of course we did, and thought the newspaper’s 60th anniversary was the perfect opportunity to let the anchor dust off the old chops by tackling the cover for our special edition Tuesday. And boy did he deliver!
We’d like to give a big thanks to the alum for taking the time to sketch some of Capitol Hill’s biggest characters (living and dead) over the years.
