Boehner to Step Down at End of October

Speaker John A. Boehner on Friday announced he will resign from Congress at the end of October, telling reporters he made the decision to step down Friday morning.“Just yesterday we witnessed the awesome sight of Pope Francis addressing the greatest legislative body in the world. And I hope we will all heed his call to live by the golden rule,” Boehner said. “But last night, I started to think about this.
