McCarthy Expects Movement on Health-Related Reconciliation Measures

During the weekly House leadership colloquy Thursday, Minority Leader Steny H. Hoyer, D-Md., condemned House Republicans for trying to mark up reconciliation bills repealing the Affordable Care Act and defunding Planned Parenthood. Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., expressed confidence that these measures would pass the Senate, to which Hoyer replied, “We’ll see.”
