Reid Again Calls for Scrutiny of Online Fantasy Sports Betting

Minority Leader Harry Reid told reporters Tuesday that Congress should look into the world of online fantasy sports betting, following a New York Times report of employees of sites betting with information not generally available to the public.”Some of the owners of those programs know what is going on with their competitors so they can make a lot of money, and that’s what they’ve done,” the Nevada Democrat said. “It should also be a warning shot to everybody: Online gaming is a real scary thing and we’d better look at all of it.” Read more.
