WH: Kunduz Hospital Bombing ‘Profound Tragedy’

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest called the accidental bombing of a hospital in Kunduz “a profound tragedy” and said the United States takes the issue seriously and is still conducting investigations into the accident. Earnest declined to speculate on how President Obama is leaning as he reviews whether to keep significant numbers of troops in Afghanistan.
