Sen. Bob Corker, a potential running mate for Donald Trump, will campaign  with the presumptive Republican presidential nominee today in North Carolina.

The Tennessee Republican, who is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will appear with Trump in Raleigh. Corker also met with the billionaire businessman at Trump Tower in New York in May.

But Corker has been critical of Trump’s rhetoric in the past, saying  in an ABC interview last month that “I think that he’s going to have to change. I’m not talking about him necessarily changing his views, but I think that he’s moving into a different phase, he’s talking to the right people.”

Over the July Fourth holiday weekend, Trump met  with two other potential running mates, Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence. He also praised both on Twitter and stoked VP speculation two weeks ahead of his party’s nominating convention.
