Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., was direct and to the point in his reaction to President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress on Tuesday.

Blumenauer tweeted a one-word response to the new president’s first address to Congress on Tuesday: Resist.

The word has become a rallying cry for those opposed to Trump’s policies and activists have organized a number of protests under the banner.

The Oregon congressman also wondered during the address how long it would take for Trump to make his speech in his favored form of communication.

Blumenauer has been an outspoken critic of Trump and has called for a review of the 25th Amendment which deals with presidential succession given his concerns about Trump’s fitness for office.

In January, four days after Trump’s inauguration, Blumenauer went on a 35-tweet rant against Trump, who he called “#LiarInChief.”
