Senators Support Mueller Protection Bill For Different Reasons

At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Sens. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Kamala Harris, D-Calif., both voiced support for a bill that would make it more difficult for special counsel Robert Mueller to be fired. The hearing was held Thursday despite the majority leader indicating earlier this week that the bill isn’t expected on the floor.
