While the Senate made history this week by changing the rules to allow Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s newborn daughter to join her for votes, members of both chambers talked baby diapers, avian pets, affordable group housing and paid tribute to the late First Lady Barbara Bush and their beloved colleague Rep. Louise M. Slaughter.
