Smith Speaks About #MeToo, Franken in Maiden Speech

Sen. Tina Smith, D-Minn., gave her maiden speech on Tuesday, speaking for the first time for an extended period of time on the Senate floor. She talked about her journey into politics, her family and her commitment to women’s issues. Smith was appointed to serve out former Sen. Al Franken’s term after he officially resigned on Jan. 2.
