An intern in Sen. Maggie Hassan’s office who shouted, “Mr. President, f— you” at President Donald Trump across the Senate Rotunda in the Capitol last week has been suspended from work for one week.

Fox News, citing unnamed sources, identified the intern as Caitlin Marriott, 21. While Hassan’s office didn’t identify her, it did confirm that she worked in the senator’s office.

Marriott has had her congressional intern ID badge revoked, limiting her to work in Hassan’s office in the Hart Senate Office Building.

“We are aware of the situation and have taken disciplinary action, including a one-week suspension and revoking her Congressional intern ID badge (thereby restricting her access to the Capitol), in response to her breach of office policies regarding respectful and appropriate conduct,” Aaron Jacobs, Hassan’s communications director, said in a statement.

Hassan’s office has also communicated with the U.S. Capitol Police over the incident, Jacobs said.
