Bars, Restaurants Hope to Get Out the Voters

Win or lose tonight — and it’s going to be a long night — our guess is that you’ll probably want a stiff drink by the time it’s all over.

And since watching election returns at home just isn’t hip in the city that fancies itself the center of the political universe, Roll Call has put together an election night party guide for those who still haven’t figured out a place to watch tonight’s inevitable media circus go down.

This list doesn’t include the private shindigs that are thrown by and for Washington’s political elites each cycle. Instead, it is meant to be a quick reference list of some election events and food and drink specials that are available to the everyday Washingtonian who might be just looking for a little political atmosphere on this most political of nights.
