The House Energy & Commerce Committee won out as the top recipient of PAC contributions in 2011-2012. The committee members received $45,823,362 of PAC money into their campaign accounts. Republican members received twice as much as Democrats, $30.8 million to $15 million, respectively. The top PAC giver was the National Cable & Telecommunications Association PAC which gave 52 committee members $443,000 (26.8 % of its contributions). The AT&T Inc. Federal PAC gave to 47 committee members $398,000 (15.1% of its contributions).

The House Financial Services Committee was second after committee members received $45,484,342 of PAC contributions in 2011-2012. Republican members received twice as much than Democrats, $14.9 million to $30.6 million respectively. The top PAC giver was the National Association of Realtors PAC which gave 57 members $537,527 (12.6% of its contributions). The New York Life Insurance Company PAC gave to 47 committee members $415,000 (17.8% of its contributions).
