C-SPAN abruptly cut off a viewer call-in on C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” program Thursday when the viewer, who was discussing how Republican overreach in the 114th Congress could help Democrats in the 2016 presidential election, said “Republicans hate that n***** Obama.”

C-SPAN Senior Executive Producer and Washington Journal Host Steven Scully quickly apologized to viewers, saying the language “crossed the line.”
