Ben Sasse, R-Neb., is engaging presidential hopeful Donald Trump, a notorious tweeter, and questioning everything from what his governing style would be if he were president to revisiting Trump's extramarital affair with Marla Maples. This isn't the first time the freshman senator has archly mused about a Trump presidency. In December, he spoke about the topic on the Senate floor, and his skepticism was unmistakable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20v04dMW3P8 Starting on Sunday night, he tweeted that he “struck a chord w/ American ppl,” and began more than 20 tweets about the presidential hopeful. In the second tweet, he says the business mogul is “likely next POTUS” and was correct in diagnosing DC’s issues. He then asked Trump questions about his governing style regarding health care, guns, taxes and his marriages. .@realDonaldTrump …At the same time, we have questions about how you would govern. He is totally dominant. Wow,” referring to the playoff game that was on television during his rant.
